A Central Committee member is an elected, grassroots party official representing a specific voting precinct. You can think of them as precinct captains. They serve four-year terms, acting as a liaison between local Democrats and party leadership, engaging in voter registration, recruiting candidates, supporting endorsed Democrats, and helping govern the county party.
