Originally from Fremont, Danielle Kay Briggs graduated from Fremont Ross in 2004 and Ohio State in 2008. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from The Ohio State University. During her time at Ohio State, Danielle completed an undergraduate law program at Oxford University. She also completed the Emerging Leaders Program through her former employer, CAS. Danielle has spent time living and working around the U.S. and returned to Fremont in 2022 to spend more time with family. Danielle’s biggest goal in her run for, and hopeful election to, Fremont City Council is to be a listener of Ward 1 constituents' concerns, then be their voice on the Council. Angie Ruiz is proud to serve the residents of Fremont’s 3rd Ward. As a member of City Council, she is committed to giving back to the city that has given her so much: a place to live, raise her family, and build her career. Angie holds an Associate Degree in Real Estate from Terra State Community College and brings both experience and dedication to her role.
Since joining City Council, Angie has supported efforts that have strengthened Fremont’s economy, including improvements to the Downtown area, the arrival of new businesses, and the development of a new industrial park. She is committed to continuing this momentum.
