Sandusky County Democratic Party Central Committee members, aka precinct captains, are the elected representatives of the SCDP in your precinct and serve as a communication link between the party and residents of the precinct. Your role would be to encourage community involvement at a grassroots level by providing information and an opportunity for participation in the political process.

We need all Democrats to vote in the May 5th primary to show support for our strong slate of candidates at the county, state and federal level. We have a number of contested races including four candidates running for the Democratic nomination for US House Rep from District 5. Mini-bios for the candidates are on the SCDP FaceBook page and the Candidates page of this website.
Sample ballots for the May 5th primary are on the SC Board of Elections website. You can search your ballot and/or check your registration status by visiting: Sandusky County Board of Elections. Click on 'VOTER VIEW'. Be sure to read the instructions for how to fill in the search fields. Be patient, the information takes time to load.

Ohio Democrats host a number of volunteer-run constituency organizations that represent the diversity of Ohio. These statewide groups help advocate on important issues and organize voters. Some also have local chapters and affiliates. Join a caucus to amplify your voice.
